Dr. Anthony C.K. Kakooza is an Advocate and academician. He holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Makerere University, a Master of Laws Degree from Warwick University in the U.K and a Doctorate Degree in Law from the University of Illinois in the U.S. Both his LL.M and J.S.D (Doctorate) degrees were focusing on Intellectual Property (I.P) Law. He is a Professor in Banking and Finance Law at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) at Queen Mary, University of London. Prior to joining CCLS he was a Senior Lecturer in Financial Law and the Academic Director at the Centre for Financial & Management Studies (SOAS), University of London and a lecturer at University of Warwick.

He was a former Head of Department of International Law & Jurisprudence, NnamdiAzikiwe University Awka, a former member of Senate of the University and has also served in many other capacities in the institution. Pheona Wall

Pheona Wall is an advocate and Chartered Mediator with a Bachelors’ Degree in Law, a Diploma in Legal Practice and an MBA in Management. She is a governance professional and a public relations practitioner with over 15 years’ experience currently serving as the Senior Manager Legal Services National Water and Sewerage Corporation, a position she has held since June 2014. She is also a Registered Trustee of Zamara Retirement Fund.

She is currently the President Uganda Law Society, having served as Secretary then Vice President and the Chairperson of the Legal Aid and Pro Bono Project of the Uganda Law Society.

Pheona also currently serves as a Council Member of the Judiciary Council and also serves on the Governing Council of the East African Law Society

Pheona is a Governance Expert who trains Boards in Governance under the Institutefor Corporate Governance Uganda and has also served on various Boards including Zamara Retitement Fund, Water FC, Future Investments Group, East African Young Water Professionals, Uganda Law Society, and Public Relations Association of Uganda.
